forces are battling for role of the cities. >> for the first time since opposition forces seized control of this portion of libya, muammar gaddafi has struck back. he hit the town on the mediterranean coast. it is an oil facility primarily. there is a university there. this seemed to take opposition forces by surprise. they were reinforced in the back and forth battle has taken place. this has really become the western front of opposition forces. they have been sending reinforcements to the town to fight the forces. muammar gaddafi also gave another statement today, it reiterated saying in the past he has said he will fight to the last woman and man and that al qaeda is behind most of this violence. he also said that the oil was

administration may seek the prosecution of the libyan leader. baltimore police are searching for a suspect in an early morning stabbing in east baltimore. investigators say a man was stabbed in the back in the 600 block just before 7:00 this morning. he was taken to the hospital, but no word on his condition. police have not released his identity or motive. a man accused of a deadly shooting has been ruled incompetent to stand trial. he was tarred with first-degree murder in august 6 shooting of albeen youlvin young. king will remain under psychiatric care until he is deemed competent to stand trial. meantime, all baltimore man faces first-degree murder and weapons charges after investigators say he killed his own grandfather. he confessed to stabbing his grandfather inside his home in the 2800 block of clifton avenue

sunday morning. authorities have not released a motive in this case. a lab technician is recovering after suffering acid burns. the technician's build the acid after an accident and allowed just after 5:00 yesterday. he was rushed to the navy burn center. no word on the severity of the injury. sky team 11 over the scene of this three-car accident in baltimore county. investigators say two children were rushed to the hospital. two adults were also injured in the crash. no word on the extent of their injuries. police are looking for two people who fled the scene on foot after the crash. >> in session 2011, the effort to legalize gay marriage in maryland is stalled after pair of delegates with through

their vot -- withdrew their votes. they skipped a vote on the same- sex marriage bill yesterday, leaving supporters' vtwo votes shy. to washington now were u.s. senators have just approved a temporary budget bill that prevents a government shutdown. the 91-9 vote comes a day after the house of representatives approved the emergency spending bill that cuts $4 billion in spending. in a show of bipartisanship, more than 100 house democrats helped pass the bill, but party leaders said the cuts could help the economy. >> we are going in the wrong direction. how fast maybe the question, but we're going in the wrong direction. >> the bill will now move quickly to the president's desk, giving lawmakers until march 18

>> i hope you get a chance to get outside and enjoy the day. in we have a nice dome of high pressure to the south. front that has materialized to our south, the cooler air will be forthcoming in the next couple of days. as far as the current temperature, 58 downtown already. and at the airport it is a good four degrees cooler. cooler towards the state line. low 50's on the eastern shore. it looks like 41 and plenty of sun in the mountains of western maryland. here we are above normal. winds will ship later on this afternoon with the advance of the front from the northwest. and anywhere from 56 to 58 degrees. on the lower eastern shore, a high of 57. all in all, a pleasant march

day. normal height is 49 degrees. tomorrow we will be well below that. we will only be in the low 40's for a high. tonight the signs of cooling as the arctic air infiltrates. 33 downtown. we will see the change with the shift of the wind out of the northwest. some of the winds could be a little bit testy. they have enhanced the risk of fire today appeared in in the . high pressure is holding up to our south. a really quiet weather day all in all. things will change in the later part of the week. we will see high-pressure toward north in a little bit every fall expected as we head into the later part of the week. friday night is our first shot of light activity. on sunday you can clearly see there is activity out ahead of a front. that is the same system out of the pacific northwest today.

we are to have you with us today. you have achieved so much in your career. what prompted you to want to do the show? >> um, man, i wanted to do the show to definitely raise a lot of money for the charity i am playing for, the united methodist children's home and also to show there is another side of rappers. people so the negativity and people going to jail and the drugs and this and that, but i wanted to show we are intelligent and could be focused and very good businessmen. i wanted to crush all of the stereotypes of rappers as well. it was a great experience. i had a wonderful time doing the show. i got to know 15 wonderful people. when you guys see this season, we raise the most money ever in reality tv history, i think.

it is funny. it is just a great season. it is the best season ever of " celebrity apprentice." i had a ball doing the show. >> i bet you did. what other cast members need to be put on notice right now? >> um, i mean, we have a crazy cast. nini is nini. star jones is star jones. many different kinds of personalities on the show. i really think everybody out there is going to enjoy it, enjoy coming enjoyed this season. it is so entertaining. like i said, i had a wonderful time doing the show. >> there really is something for everyone.

that debuts wednesday night on wbal-tv 11. apple will show off a new tablet upgrade later today. it is expected to be thinner and smaller in size. no word on a launch date and price. motorola and samsung has launched their version of the popular tabloid. one week after many of the nation's airlines raise fares, competition forces a cutback. many domestic fares have been raised by $20, but they have been cut back to $10 because low-fare carriers like southwest only went up $10 on their fares. airlines regularly watch bears
